So I am now back at work and being back at work means I don't want to do all the chores in the house all the time. Which is fair. When I wasn't working it was fine because I was a home all the time. I knew that Dave would get used to me being home and not want to do any chores once I went back to work. Boy was I right. I told him last night now that I'm back at work I'm not doing his laundry all the time. It's his laundry, not mine. I shouldn't have to worry about doing his laundry if I'm at work all day long. He told me that yes I will be doing his laundry and all he is gonna do is the cat box and trash. Seriously???
What about the kitchen? The bathroom? Vacuuming? Dishes? Cooking? So all that is still on me even though he will be at home for 3 days and me for 2? I'm still responsible for all that?
Makes me not wanna work if I'm still gonna be a housewife working full time!
Something needs to be because I'm not gonna be happy!

Sound like Drew.
Even though I have been out of work for like 2-3 years he tells me that when I go back to work he will help me with HALF of the household duties. What the fuck ever!!!! When I was living with him and had a job at Old Navy I was still doing EVERYTHING! And I just dont see him pitching in and helping me because by the time he gets home I see how tired he is and how much pain he is in when he he gets home from work. He just wants to come home, eat, take a shower and sit and watch tv before he has to go to bed. I couldn't even barely get him to do shit around the house when he was unemployed for 2 months back home. He said "this is your job, you dont have a job" I looked at him and said "yea well neither do you right now so you can lift a finger around here" He might have done dishes a few times and cleaned up the kitchen a bit, but that was it. I was stuck doing everything else.
Sometimes I start to feel like a fricken slave!
Dave is just like that too Shay. so far I've been doing his laundry and even cleaned the cat box. "Well I worked 7 days in a row I'm not gonna clean the cat box"
