Life has been good lately. Been awhile since I posted here but as usual life gets the best of me. Dave and I have been in the house for almost a year now and I love it. Cats are happy and we even adopted a stray we found.

Work is slow. No kids in my class. Have 4 enrolled. One day may class is closed completely as no kids on that day. It sucks as I barely make enough to get by.

They raised my insurance saying I made too much money. What a joke.

But Dave and I have been great. No fighting. No nothing. I told him hiam for my 40th birthday I would like and iPad and he bought me one early because he got a bonus and wanted to make sure he would be able to afford it. He's so sweet.

Hopefully things pick up at work and then things will be perfect.

The house that I fell in love with we got!! YAY! I'm so happy about this. We will close on the 13th of Aug. and then we will be able to move into it.

I can't wait to move into the house. There is so much room I have no idea what we are gonna do with it. The cats will be happy that there is all that space. Hopefully no more fighting.

House Hunting 2

So our offer was denied and Dave was fine with that. I'm glad it was because we saw the perfect house yesterday and we should know about it by Monday. This house was GORGEOUS!!! I love it.

4 bedrooms, 2 baths, dining room, awesome kitchen. And an in-law apartment that would be perfect for a home daycare. Perfect, perfect, perfect!

I'm so in love with this house. I really hope we get this house.

House Hunting

Well we put in an offer for a house that is close enough to my work that I can walk to. Hopefully we get it because I like the house and it has a lot of potential to it too. Imagine how much money we could make off of it in the long run. I know what ever house we do buy we won't be living in it forever. So this is a good house to buy.

I can picture Dave and I living in it an being happy. I know the cats will love it, there is so much room for them to run around and stay out of each others hair. I can picture out stuff inside, painting's on the wall and etc.

I really hope we get this house. I'm tired of looking and just want to move already.

So there is this certain pixel site owner out there that thinks she is the shit. This person had a sale for her site, lifetime for $40 including tubing. I already have a tube lic. so I asked her who much would it be, she gave me a $5 dollar discount. Seriously? I thought we were friends? And that's all you are going to give me? Damn. So I pay it because she has some lines I want to tube.

So a couple of weeks go by and she sends a mail out saying she doesn't have time to update her site anymore. That she wants to spend time with her kids and her hubby, blah blah blah. And that she's been thinking about it for awhile. WHAT THE FUCK????? Seriously?? You knew you were going to close and you STILL took my money? That is some cold assed shit.

Come to find out that she not only took my money but she has the nerve to take someones money the day BEFORE she closed. Come on now. That is fucked up beyond anything. How can someone be that cold? Be that greedy?

So fast forward 2 weeks and she is updating her shoppe. What? I thought you didn't have time to pixel? Oh and the best part is that she is selling As-Is Tubes. This women has sent mail after mail out to the community that she hates As-Is and that we should get rid of it and blah blah blah.

This woman has to be the biggest hypocrite I've ever met/known. I will not give her another dime of my money and if she opens another members area I sure am going to demand access to it or tell people to stay away from her because she's closed her area's before and opened them.

Life

It's been awhile since I've posted anything but it seems like I don't have any time since I've started working. I go to work, come home, clean the kitchen, cook, eat, spend time with Dave and then I've got an hour before bed.

Work is work. Things are better than they were when I was there before. My boss is still the same. I like him as a person but as a boss he sucks. He doesn't pay attention to what his employee's want and it's always about him. I know everyone has a personal life and sometimes we have drama in it but it seems a though there is always something going on in his life. And he is always talking about what is going on, truthfully I don't care. When I ask you a question I'd like it answered. Not brushed off because you want to tell me something about yourself. Fuck.

And we are losing kids. Soon we won't have any and I feel strongly it's because he doesn't buy anything for the center. How do you expect to have people send their kids to your center if you don't buy anything for them to do? I know I wouldn't. It's summertime and there is no pools, no sand for the sand table, no outdoor toys. Everyone knows that you have to spend money in order to make money in business. If he would advertise he'd get people and the one thing he needs to do is: STOP TALKING TO PARENTS!

They don't want to hear about all of your personal shit, they want to hear about the center. They don't give a shit about you or your kid. Fuck

Other than being frustrated by him I'm happy to have a job. I like the people I work with and it's nice to get out of the house everyday. I love working with the infants. It's the best thing about my job, watching them grow, listening to them giggle. Baby's are so awesome.

So that's it for now. What else is there to say?

So I am now back at work and being back at work means I don't want to do all the chores in the house all the time. Which is fair. When I wasn't working it was fine because I was a home all the time. I knew that Dave would get used to me being home and not want to do any chores once I went back to work. Boy was I right. I told him last night now that I'm back at work I'm not doing his laundry all the time. It's his laundry, not mine. I shouldn't have to worry about doing his laundry if I'm at work all day long. He told me that yes I will be doing his laundry and all he is gonna do is the cat box and trash. Seriously???

What about the kitchen? The bathroom? Vacuuming? Dishes? Cooking? So all that is still on me even though he will be at home for 3 days and me for 2? I'm still responsible for all that?

Makes me not wanna work if I'm still gonna be a housewife working full time!

Something needs to be because I'm not gonna be happy!

It's been a few since I posted something. Just been feeling like crap lately and I'm just now starting to feel better. I can finally hear out of my ears. No more sinus pressure. Thank god! The thing that sucks the most about being sick is not being able to hear out of my ears!

I'm also waiting for my paper work to come back before I can start working again. I can't wait. I swear though if Jeff flakes on me I'm gonna hurt him. But I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt. I wanna start working again and this is perfect for me as I know everyone and the job.

And on another not something that has me laughing my ass off. BCH had a contest and about 9 people entered it. And my favorite pixel person, (sarcasm off), entered and she hasn't gotten one vote! How funny is that!!!!! She acts like she is so talented and everyone loves her and no one votes for her stuff!!! LOL!!!

So I'm finally going back to work. Thank God! My boss called me last week to tell me about how he had bought 3 more daycare's and there is a position open at my old one. He confirmed it to me on Monday which to me was a sign as it was my dad's birthday.

I went and filled out my CORY today and hopefully it will be back next week and I can start next week. Most likely the week after. So yay me I get to go back to work! I'm happy.

I love this statement. It is so true. I don't strive to be perfect, to fit in, to be like everyone else. But in the end I stay true to myself, to who I am.

I'm not a fake person, I don't try to be one person to certain people and another to others. I am just me and always me.

It amazes me that there is someone out there in the pixel community who blatantly steals other peoples work and they get away with it because no one wants to call her out on it because she is well known and people like her.

That's bullshit. If I did that then I would be called out on it.

This person also copies other peoples ideas and once again no one says anything to her. WTF!

I really can't stand this person and really feel that they need to be put into check. Now you are probably saying to yourself why don't you? Well that's because no one would believe me, I'm not that known in the community.

And I have had my run in with this person and told them off. They know they did wrong and we no longer have anything to do with each other.

I just can't stand people who bitch about others stealing and they steal themselves.

Sick

I am so damn tired of being sick. This cough isn't going away and it just seems to be lingering. The cold medicine doesn't work. There's no Advil in the house so I can't take that to help.

And I need to get over this by the 12th as I have a job interview and it wouldn't look good to be sick at that.

This is the first time in almost 2 years since I've been sick and it sucks ass. I hate being sick and it seems to stay forever!

Dave and I just watched this movie tonight and it was really good. Makes you think about what if...

I told Dave that if the world is coming to an end like it was in the movie to shoot me because I wouldn't want to live through the horror of it all. He told me "I don't have a gun" How sweet is that? Even if the world is going to hell he wouldn't be able to kill me. What a guy!

These disaster movies get me thinking though. You know out government and the rest of the nations out there have plans in play for world wide disasters and you know that most of these movies have it right on who will be allowed to live. Politicians and rich people.

Now what gets me is who do these people think are gonna build their new world order??? You've just killed all the labor off because you all are a bunch of assholes. I know this is how it will happen if it really comes down to it.

God forbid if we actually save some of the little people.

I'd rather die by my own hand than to live through all of that heart ache of seeing and knowing the world is dying and everybody and everything I love will not make it through. So believe me when I say I will not live through it. I will live this planet on my own terms.

Unless it's a Zombie attack then damn it those suckers are going down!!!!

Something to Think About

I had someone on friends list on Facebook post this as their status the other day:

"Shame on you America!! The only country where we have homeless without shelter, children going to bed without eating, elderly going without needed meds, and mentally ill without treatment - yet we have a benefit for the people of Haiti on 12 TV stations."

I totally agree with that statement. When Hurricane Katrina happened did we have that type of benefits? All that money that people donated to Haiti could have helped those in our own country.

Now don't get me wrong what happened in Haiti is devastating and I totally feel for the destruction that happened in that country. I'm not heartless. I just feel that the 10 million dollars Obama donated could have helped all those people out of work in our own country.

And who cares that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie donated a million dollars. They make 10 times that per movie. They could have donated more money. They have it to spare. To me that was kinda a slap in the face. Here the American people pay you all that money, and it is us that pay your salary, and you think a million dollars is enough??? how about helping out here instead of going to foreign countries and adopting kids. What about orphans in America?? Don't they deserve that?? Or is it because it won't give you enough publicity?

Ok now to get back on track. We should be doing more for our own country that is in a crisis also. But it seems like Americans do not care about Americans. It's not politically correct.

Sick

So I've been sick the past week and it sucks sucks sucks. I have no energy to do anything and I still need to get my computer back up to speed. I still don't have Frontpage installed and other programs I need. Looking for fonts I lost sucks too because I have these fonts that I know I didn't pay for but can't seem to find them to download them.

I had to give up on the Secret Cupid because I don't feel well and not everything is installed on my computer. And only 6 people signed up for it. It's not like it's a hard event or anything. Make some tags and gift another person. I don't know what the problem is with people in the community. No love for others. Sometimes I wonder why I even bother. It seems like no one knows how to give a kind word or do a something nice for another person.

I wish that I had extra money to be able to gift people in the community, kinda like a pay it forward but with pixels but people can be so damn stingy with their stuff. I have no problem giving stuff. I think I have given away more memberships to my site than I have had people pay for it.

And of course if I actually suggested this idea in the community I would be shot down. No one wants to show compassion for any one else. Why bother? When they can make money off of people rather than show kindness. Oh well.

Lately I have been looking for those quote blog pictures. So every once in awhile I will post one and talk about it.

This one says a lot about my life. I've made plenty of mistakes and they have definitely made me stronger. They have lead to me to people that I love. Lead me away from friends. My Dad was a strong believer in letting us learn from our mistakes. He only stopped us from making one if we would get truly hurt. He was always there to help pick us up and the pieces when we fell from making the mistakes.

Everyone makes mistakes. And we can only hope that if we do hurt someone in the process that they forgive us and we move on from them. Pick ourselves up. Learn from them.

So went to turn on my computer today and I get the dreaded blue screen. So I re-start and try and start it in safe mode and still the dreaded blue screen. It sucks as we can't afford to buy me a new computer and I'm gonna lose stuff off of it if Dave can't fix it.

Grrr...I'm so damn pissed off about this!! I want my damn computer to work! All the laptop is good for is typing and running apps on Facebook. Can't play Everquest. Can't really pixel! WTF!!!

Going to the store...

So because my head wasn't all there when we went grocery shopping this week I had to walk to the store to get a few jars of sauce, must be pasta week for us. Anyways the store is like a 5 to 10 minute walk from our house and there are no sidewalks which means I have to walk on the side of the road.

I like to walk facing traffic as I hate having anything come up behind me that I can't see. Going there was fine but on the way back there is one spot where I walk with the traffic and I swear people don't move over even an inch! Some of those people almost hit me! There was room for them to move over but no. What if they hit me what would have been their excuse?

Seriously people you see someone walking move over a little because you just might make the person freak out and they fall and get hurt or worse get run over but the dumb ass behind you!

For a week now I've been trying to contact unemployment and I keep getting "We're sorry all our operators are busy please call back later". Are you kidding me??? I call when the stupid place opens and they are already busy?? If I call before they open they say to call when opened, well WTF?

Seriously? Maybe if they hired some of us that are unemployed they would be able to at least put us on hold or something.
